Reading Notes: Saints and Animals Part B

My favorite story from this reading was "The Wolf-Mother of Saint Ailbe." This story to me was very entertaining as I liked the part of the boy being raised by the wolves. It is somewhat like Tarzan however Saint Ailbe was left by his parents where in Tarzan his parents were killed. The life long connection between Ailbe and his wolf-mother is a great part to this story as Ailbe is able to return the favor and save her life, just as she did his. The many families that Ailbe has in this story is interesting as it seems unfavorable to keep moving in this manner; however, with each one he keeps improving his quality of life.
