Tech Tip: Microsoft Teams

Microsoft teams is an application that connects to your Microsoft office account. You can add people to different projects and teams and use this to plan out due dates and milestones for an assignment or project that you are working on. Everyone on a team can see the meetings and dates that are scheduled for that team on their team calendar and you can see all of the information for all the teams you are apart of as well as any other events that you put on there for yourself. This can connect to your Microsoft Office email and you can add events from there as well. This is a useful tool for keeping up to date on work and projects and organizing and planning your day, week and month.

Wikipedia Trail: From Coronavirus to the SARS Outbreak

For this Wikipedia Trail I decided to read about Coronavirus as it is obviously impacting the world today.

Article 1: Coronaviruses are actually a group of viruses that, in humans, lead to respiratory tract infections. The severity and lethality of this virus can carry from mild to extremely lethal. These viruses were first discovered in the 1930s in chickens.

Article 2: Avian coronavirus is that which infects birds. This leads to avian infectious bronchitis that is highly infectious among birds. This impacts meat-producing and egg-producing chickens and has caused a large economic impact in the poultry industry in the past.

Article 3: Severe acute respiratory syndrome-related coronavirus (SARS-CoV) is a type of coronavirus that infects humans, bats, and some other mammals. This was the cause of the 2002-2004 outbreak of SARS. There are hundreds of different strands of this virus but they are all known to only infect non-human species.

Article 4: The 2002-2004 outbreak of Sars was an epidemic which was caused by SARS-CoV. Like today's Covid-19 outbreak, it began in China. This was in November 2002 in Foshan, Guangdong. Unlike today's pandemic, there were 8,000 people infected in 29 different countries and 774 death worldwide. While this was an epidemic at the time, the numbers pale in comparison to today's pandemic.

Reading Notes: Epified Krishna Part B

Brahma tricked Krishna and took his cows and his friends. Krishna wanted to teach him a lesson and recreated everything that had been stolen with a piece of himself. This went on for a year before Brahma returned with everything stolen and was astonished that nothing had changed. Everything was a part of Krishna. Balram told everyone that he wanted to be able to kill Hastin, the strongest bull. Krishna told him that this was not a good deed but instead Krishna would ride the bull himself. Nobody thought he was serious or that he could do it. He visited the bull every night feeding him sweet food and playing the flute for him. He became closer and closer to the bull and the bull became docile. The village was amazed when they saw Krishna ride the bull until the bull tired out.

Reading Notes: Epified Krishna Part A

A boy was born and his enemies tried to keep him from being born. They sent death to him at every chance but he survived and became a king. He was a friend to those in need and an enemy to those who sought to harm him or his loved ones. Nobody knew that he wasn't a part of their world but they a part of his. This was the birth of the Pandavas and the start of the Krishna. Another child was born far away who would lead the Pandavas. Kansa grew furious and went to kill his sister and her husband because of what he heard from the heavens. He decided to imprison them and kill her children to prevent the prophecy from coming true. When she became pregnant for the 8th time she birthed the reincarnation of Vishnu. Vasudev was able to escape the prison with his son. They came to a river that he realized he wouldn't be able to cross but a voice told him to accept the river and he was able to cross it and he reached his destination. He switched his son with a child named Maya with sadness but knew it was the right thing to do.
